Nigerian celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna has been discharged and acquitted of complicity in the d3ath of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna.
IVD was cleared on Monday, December 15, 2025, three years after a legal battle with Bimbo’s family, who had accused him of causing her death.
His new partner and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing CEO, announced the news on her Instagram page. Celebrating IVD’s court victory, Blessing CEO encouraged her followers to leave toxic marriages or relationships.

“If marriage or relationship no Dey work please run ooooooo, run oooooo, don’t wait for anybody to pass. Run,” she stated.
Bimbo d!ed in October 2022 after sustaining injuries from a fire incident linked to domestic violence at their Lagos residence.
In March 2023, IVD was arraigned by the Lagos State Government and charged with involuntary manslaughter, before being released on bail.
He was later rearrested on August 1, 2025, while travelling to Qatar ahead of his wedding with Blessing CEO by the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
