According to The PUNCH, Bishop David Abioye, former Vice President and retired pastor of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has officially launched his new ministry, Living Word Conquerors Global Assembly. The inauguration took place on Sunday, May 4, 2025, with a massive turnout at the first service.
During the service, Abioye emphasized that the decision to start the ministry was guided solely by divine instruction, not public pressure or ambition. He described the move as a manifestation of God’s eternal purpose, “ordained from the foundation of the word,” and revealed in its due season.

He clarified that his mission is not to undertake the entire Great Commission alone but to fulfill a specific divine assignment. “This is not a response to human demand but a step in line with God’s timing,” he stated.
Abioye officially declared the ministry open and welcomed the congregation, expressing his hope that everyone who joins will experience victory in all aspects of life. “You will be named more than conquerors,” he declared.
Abioye retired from Living Faith Church in October 2024 at the age of 63, following a policy review that introduced a mandatory retirement age. His new ministry aims to promote spiritual growth, edification, and global Christian impact.
