Bus Catches Fire on Niger Bridge

An interstate commercial bus is reported to have caught fire in the middle of Niger bridge inward Onitsha,  Anambra State.

According the Confirming the incident, Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Adeoye Irelewuyi, the incident occurred at about 1:02pm on Sunday, August 8, 2022.

All the passengers, however, escaped unhurt just before the vehicle burst into flames.

The FRSC Sector Commander stated that: “A Hummer bus is on flame inside the bridge. The Fire Service have been alerted. All passengers are safe.”
