An aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has been shot dead in Owerri Imo State by unknown gunmen.
Reports say that Ahmed Gulak was on his way to Kaduna from Owerri on Saturday night when he was killed.
Sources say he was ambushed on his way to Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport when his motorcade was attacked ai Obiagwa near the airport.

He was being conveyed in his Toyota Camry marked Texas BFT 2150.
The incident has been confirmed to newsmen by the Commissioner of Police Abutu Yaro.
According to the CP, “It is true but the details are sketchy. I am on my way to the airport. Please call the CP in charge of Airport. He will give more details. You know that Imo Command is different from Airport Command.”
