Bandits Kidnap Zamfara Speaker’s Father and Stepmother

Bandits are reported to have kidnapped the father and stepmother of the speaker of Zamfara State House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Muazu Magarya.

Reports say the gunmen stormed Magarya community of Zumi Local Government Area of the state at night, shooting sporadically in the air.

Also abducted were the speaker’s uncle and four other members of the community.

The State police command is yet to issue a statement on the incident as at the time of this report.
