Annie Idibia, has dropped a cryptic post amidst the marital troubles between her ex-husband, 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawuru.
2Babaās former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, confirmed the video of the legendary musician and his wife in a public altercation in London was real.
He said the incident happened after Natasha allegedly became upset when 2Baba went off with fans.
Igbokwe also alleged Natasha has been violent toward 2Baba and controlling over his finances.
Annie in a post on Instagram wrote,āSometimes trying to prove you are the best is an insult.ā
āWouldnāt it be easier if you left your past behind.ā
āThe power of stepping away.ā
Some posts featured matchsticks with one pulled away from the rest, a symbol of walking away before getting burned.
Though she did not mention any names, fans believe her posts relate to her separation from the singer and his new relationship with Natasha Osawaru.
2Baba and Annie separated in January 2025 after 12 years of marriage. He announced their divorce on social media but later deleted the posts, claiming his account was hacked.
He confirmed the split in a video and soon moved on with Natasha, describing her as āa young, brilliant and amazing woman.“
All appear not to be so rosy with the marriage of less than 6 months according to multiple revelations of former close associates of the singer.
